CANAANLAND IS JUST IN SIHT Presented by Our Senior Adult Choir
October 28th 6:00 PM
Trunk-or-Treat is a community outreach opportunity that provides local families with a safe, fun alternative for door-to-door “trick or treat.” We offer games and prizes, snacks, and candy. It is an occasion for our church family to introduce ourselves to neighborhood families and have lots of fun. This year’s Trunk or Treat will be held Wednesday, October 31st beginning at 6:30 pm.
If you would like to be part of this annual event, please contact Donna McNeil. You can call 868-8630 or email dmcneil9@nc.rr.com. We need you to make this event successful. How can you help? There are several ways:
• Decorate your “trunk” and pass out candy, small prizes.
• Lead a game or activity station. Your suggestions are requested, but we already need volunteers for Snow Cone Station, Popcorn Pavilion, Cake Walk Way, Face-Painting.
• Help make posters and signs. Wouldn’t it be great to have a poster with scripture at each trunk and activity? Participants could get extra candy for reading the verse.
• Donate candy and small prizes.
• Come out Wednesday, October 31st and join in the fun.
• Remember, costumes and decorations are highly encouraged - but nothing scary!
